Who We Are

C3 Tamworth commenced in 2008, and is a part of C3 Global. C3 started as an outreach to the beach culture on the northern beaches of Sydney in 1980. A simple, ‘grass roots’ approach to victorious Christian living is still the norm.

C3 is a “church planting” movement of like-minded churches with a clear vision to see over a million believers worshipping God, every Sunday, all over the world. Currently C3 is over 500 churches around the world and we are experiencing rapid growth. We don’t see ourselves as the be-all-and-end-all but rather as one of the many expressions of the exciting new things God is doing all around the world in contemporary church.

Our Pastors

Brian & Annette Bernays

In 2008, as a result of a strong call from God, Brian and Annette Bernays, moved from C3 Byron Bay to start the church in Tamworth.

The Bernays’ have been in ministry since the early 80’s when they were involved in pioneering a ministry on the professional rodeo circuit in Australia.

Brian’s background is on the land. His life experience includes the mining industry, professional bull rider, horse breaker, farrier and welder.
Brian’s passion is to equip people to walk solid with Jesus and to reach out to others with the gospel.

Annette grew up in North Queensland. Annette has qualifications and experience in office administration, child care and early childhood development.  Annette has a passion for worship, prayer and to help people into healing and wholeness.

The Bernays’ have five children and six grandchildren, whom they adore!
